With the recent riots and protests, there has been a lot of misinformation being spread about the Boogaloo.

Let’s start with the basics.

Most Boogaloo Boys (or Bois) identify as Libertarians. No, a Libertarian is not a far-right white supremacist. The Libertarian philosophy is heavily based on the Non-Aggression Principle. This is an ethical principle, similar to the Golden Rule. They are passive until provoked. They stand against governmental tyranny, including policy brutality. They support people doing whatever they want as long as others’ rights are not infringed upon. They are inclusive to anyone that holds their values, anyone that supports them is welcome to be a part of the movement.

What do they want?

They want liberty for every one of every creed, background, and, race. They believe that individual liberties should never be infringed upon. They want freedom, not just for themselves, but for their neighbors as well.

What started the movement?

They are fed up.

The two-party system has failed us again and again. America is too busy fighting with each other to get anything accomplished. This is dividing our nation. Our current system divides us by design.
